Cherie Hawkins Lamp Shades September 24th, 2018 - 01:46:37
You begin making a slit in the lampshade. I use my scissors to make the slit. It was kind of not easy, but, as you once you get it cut make the first incision is a little bit easier after that, as you can see here, I am pulling the cloth and the plastic back and rolling it to the right to remove. So I can have the just the frame: there's still some left on the frame, as you can see, so what you need to do is just peel it off.
Here is the frame. This is what you'll need to use to make your chandelier lampshade. So what you do is plug in your glue gun. I already have a glue stick in there, that's kind of low, so what I do is take a new one and just drop it in at the end of it and just push it in as I use it. So once your glue gun is hot and ready to go, you'll see here that I'm pressing on the trigger to dispense the hot glue onto the end of the garland beads.
So you just want to put it on that one, the tip one and then after you do that you press it onto the frame and then just let it hang. I don't cut it before. I just let it stay on the roll and then I just eyeball it and decide where I would like to cut it so for this project. I wanted to have three long rows of beads and three short here. I didn't measure it at all.
I just you know, just go off of how it looks. So if you want the length I can put it in the description below so here you know done most majority of the work. I just wanted to show you the process of doing it. This project took about two to three hours.I could take less or more time what is a good project to do if you're trying to you know not really think about anything, just a really easy. Breezy happy project to do this. Is it so, as I put the beads on, I rotate the frame.
